Hello everyone

I`m glade to be here, after one week of searching and reading about vbuletin vs IPB i have decided to purchased an ipb licence. Still have few questions before making the move, will tell my reason why i`m a bit worry.
I am running myself a big board with 30 k active members, highly intensive traffic, many mysql access, lots of images within user`s threads and it was built on free forum platform named mybb. Have some good words about mybb, it is a nice script with helpful online support but obviously it cannot handle high traffic boards with tons of mysql access. What was happening is my dedicated server Intel® Core™ i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz with 8 gb ram is constantly running out of memory, mostly from mysql usage.
My question is Does ipb script can handle big boards without any problem? Anticipate thanks

Absolutely.

IPB is used not only on here, but on sites such as NBC and Neowin. Neowin is the better example of the two as their community is HUGE with almost 286k members and over 10 million posts.
