The problem with that would be that some would use them, then not be happy if (for example) had to put in a support request for say 2.3.6 (or lower) and found it was not supported officially anymore.They have this in the previous versions in the archive. They should add all the old files including 2.3.6, etc. and put a disclaimer saying its not supported by IPB.
Having said that in the support forums, fellow customers will usually assist with older versions where possible. I try to as well where I can.
It just makes sense to only have available for download from the Client Area versions that are still currently officially supported, that's all.

It is possible to download any version that we currently support, however periodically we will will make versions EOL (End of Line)
When this happens we will be unable to support that version and the download ability for it will also be withdrawn.
Currently the oldest support version is 3.1.4 but this will shortly cease.

I agree. Offering outdated software will cause the problems highlighted above.

It can be accessed via the "Downloads" tab - if you are having trouble locating it please open a ticket with Accounts/Billing or email [email protected]i went to the client area i dont see older version
