I would like to extend/ add a plugin for nexus to print a shipping label. Ideally that would be right next to the print invoice button, and I would assume it is very similar in function, just a slightly different layout.

Its hard to dig through the code since it is encoded with zend, is there a best approach in extending IP.Nexus, or is it something that IPS isn't interested in allowing users to modify?

Thanks

Request it for a future release. The ability to print labels would be useful enhancement.

This feature already exists. When viewing a shipping order there is a button that says "Print Packing Slip" (or something to that effect).

That prints a copy invoice without price information. While it may be possible to make it into a shipping label with a bit of origami or scissors and glue, it's not exactly ideal. ;)

I would agree, an invoice, packing slip and shipping label are three completely different things. This would really be a simple feature to add as described.

If you do a lot of shipping the last thing you want to do is physically cut and paste an invoice for every sale.

Seems it's there now but it is huge and will not fit a label.

Any way to export as CSV so we can print out a list of labels?
