I am really newbie about choose the best forum platform...
I am a hosting company and I want to do a clients forum... ipboard should be better?
Also, I will need a standard license or a business license? I will not sell anything in the forum...

Hello, of course I'm going to suggest IPS... however the biggest factor you mentioned is "hosting company" and "Clients" using nexus you can integrate your hosting platform into IPS.. meaning you can do support ticket, and even offer hosting through nexus (if you use cpanel) and it's all automated.

It's what we use for our hosting and our client center too, I also personally use it for my site as well, the ticket support alone is top notch and my clients love it.

I use WHMCS for support/billing.
I will search about Nexus and I back here :)
And about the license type?

We run both IPB and VB and IPB is the better of the two for a wide variety of reasons.

The primary difference in the license types is how quickly you can obtain technical support and how quickly we will perform updates for you. The business license also comes with phone support.

If you think faster technical support, phone support, or faster managed updates is something you need, the business license is your best bet. :)

You configure the "Members" group and/or the "Members" permission mask in the ACP. You would then create a new permission mask and group that you would move your clients into, giving them different permissions.

Okay... now is about theme customanization...
Can I made my own theme integrating the fórum to my company website? ( like http://forums.hostgator.com or http://forum.teamsprak.com? )
Have a resource with all .psd files for the images? Anything like developer tools? May I contact support to it?
Thanks ;)

The skin is fully customizable via the ACP. If you are comfortable with more advanced technologies, you can also edit your skin using WebDAV (information on how to set this up is in our documentation).

The GDK is available here: http://community.inv...for-ipboard-32/

There are developer tools available, but most of them are related to PHP development. Most of the skinning tools are available to the end user right via the ACP.

We do not provide official support for customizing the software, however we have peer to peer areas where you can obtain assistance if you need it. We can answer questions about how the software works (e.g. where would you go to edit the skin), but not how to alter it (e.g. what do I change to make this purple).
