A few months ago it was stated that the documentations would get a overall and done with IPB 3.1. I have seen stuff added but the new documented is still well now old and the older stuff even older. When will the redone of the articles be done with? Also the new docs are for IPB 3.1 and the old stuff not redone. Also if someone replays with what can we do to change it that has been stated many a times in other threads. I just calling on what was say to be follow through, compare to the other forums software IPB still has a way to go but it on the right path.

Also just remember to ask why not put more or add videos to the documentation area?

Being new to IPBoard, i found it difficult to navigate in the CP and know the visual impact of a change.

That would be very useful if we could have visual screen shoot of what will be the impact of a change instead of just a text line under the options. I agree that text is enough for some but for other like

Attached File  metatag.png   1.22KB   1 downloads

If we could have the preview of that image

Also i see two places to change one settings

We have "manage applications and module" and at the same time we have "other apps" that can control the same type of info. Example the order of the tab can be change at those two locations

Also i would like to have a visual navigation tool to help me figure out where the info is store. I mean the page structure. We have the "Page manager" but it does not reflect the structure of the side.

What would help is if the navigation structure define in the "Navigation menu" could be reflect in the "Page Manager" or combine both into one single interface. This way we could define the site structure navigation. Each node in the structure will be a page. And one each page we could decide what we want to display in a page (its behavior). Each page could have three settings, Microsoft word style, Webpage style (HTML like in dreamweaver) or select an article to be display in a page.

This really doesn't have anything to do with documentation, but rather is a feature suggestion for IP.Content. I recommend posting it in the appropriate forum.

We can split a topic but the rest of your post is relevant to the original discussion so I would recommend copying the appropriate part.

OK

Just a quick question any reason why we cannot edit a post after X time?
