I installed apache, php, mysql on my local pc to convert db to uft8

There appears to be an error with the database.
If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again.



I get this the latest mysql error in /:

You put an invalid password.

Can you tell me where did I enter that password so I can correct it

Make sure that you have entered the correct database information. Or that the database user has full access to the database.

Its referring to the password in conf_global.php. This needs to be reconfigured to your localhost.
