I am loving the software and am very interested in purchasing it, but before I make my decision, I need to know if I can customize something. From the IPS forums that I have seen, the forum section icons are highlighted when there are unread topics inside and only get gray'd out when every topic in the section has been looked into. Is there some settings panel that would allow me to make it so that that the forum section icon gets gray'd out after entering the section? Instead of having to look inside each topic for them to be considered "read."

Thanks,
Luke Weber

Hello,

There is not a setting to automatically mark a forum as read, however members can mark the forum as read, via a link at the top of the topics, which goes to a link similar to /index.php?app=forums&module=forums&section=markasread&marktype=forum&forumid=305&returntoforumid=305

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

That's no good. Is it possible after purchase, to edit the code? It seems like a very simple change.

If you purchase a license, you have full viewable access to the code and can edit it at will. You can also look to contract someone who will be able to do this in our custom services directory.
