What I'm really looking for is for gallery notifications to work a lot like how they do on status update. If I post a comment on an image then I want it so that I'm automatically following that image now (kind of like Facebook I guess..). I like the recent change made to notifications a lot, but also would like to see this kind of thing applied to images that weren't uploaded by myself. I know I can just click follow but...that's just not as smooth or straightforward. Am I being picky?

Also is there member follow options? I'm thinking that notifications can be sent out if a specific member that you follow (or maybe forget that and make it members that are on your friends list) has created a new album, and then you can follow that album. The way I see it right now, Gallery has a strong foundation to build into a powerful social platform.
