In the older IPG 3, the admin can add different support for other types of extensions then the current base ones that came with gallery. For example, I have an artist who wish to us my gallery to post some flash art work they work on but it not currently that user friendly for that type of media. Another person made music he wishes to share. All through gallery is most made for images why not all the administrators to use it to upload sound files and such if they wish to expand it more then just images. Like videos and such as well. Pretty much expand it usefulness and options for users. Now others would say use youtube, use the forums but again options not limits are the key here. Just and idea.
