Well , I got my own forums and I am intersted to start using IPB in here,
so I wanted to ask. There is a way to convert the forum verstion from vb3.8.1 to ipb 3.3.4?(without loosing any posts/users etc..)
I'll appreciate any help.

Yes you can convert over
we have many clients who have migrated from VB to IP.Board
The conversion page is here , you can type in VB 3.8 and see the conversion listing of what is / is not carried over.
I'll attach a screenshot to save you a bit of time too:

As you can see, there is very little that is not converted over.

Hello,
You will need to purchase IP.Board to get access to the IP.Board files. The converter is an "application" (much like Nexus, or Gallery, etc.) that you install within IP.Board once you have purchased it.

IPB is better than vB IMHO.
