Few things I have tested on my site and also that of a few people who trusted me with their databases
  • Passwords -- 50/50 chance of them not being saved and users being required to re-set
  • Avatars - Will read as successful conversion, but will not
  • Attachments - Will only show BB CODE where attachments were once

Those are the only 3 problems I could find.

Attachments is a common problem which I am fixing throughout all converters, will look into the other two.

On my forum after convert no one can login, all users need to reset passwords.

Please submit a ticket if users cannot login - we can patch your install for you, members will not need to reset passwords.

I wish I had known this earlier.  I sent out an e-mail telling people they'll need to change their passwords.

I figure most have already, but there will be a few who will come in later. And I doubt you can pick among which has changed -vs- those who have not yet already.

We can indeed :) If you still want us to, we can patch it and members who have not yet reset their passwords will be able to keep the current ones.
