Directly after startinge the 3.2..3 ==> 3_3_0_Alpha upgrade i got this
I cannat connect to the acp too now - get the same error message.

I re-uploaded the classDbMysql.php from the 3.2.3 install and restarted the upgrader. Now all works fine.
We need to abstract that method to MySQL and MySQLi client files.
After the upgrade i got on the indexpage
After re-uploading the new classDbMysql.php of the 3.3.0 upload package this was fixed.
