#2124637 Support (my strong concerns)

As I understand it, the support system is for technical issues (problems).  So yes, if my forum was to crash or I received some odd error... I'm sure they would be all over it.

But for less emergency questions such as... Does anyone know how to make a BB code for X?  Or other important questions that have gone un-answered, such as....

Custom Field / Action question

for Nexus.

It the odd ends (non emergency) topics or questions I wonder about

You're assuming from what the topic title says, you can't possibly know what the actual question is. Just for your reference, the user is asking for help on a making a custom PHP file - which is outside the scope of our support, and is also something that not all of our customers would be able to assist with.

I don't see how you can judge the support when you can't actually read the topics..

#1906267 Reputation for blogentries

Posted Tanax on 29 January 2010 - 05:41 PM

How about making use of the reputation system on blogs aswell?
I know you can give reputation to blogcomments, but what about the actual entry? If I write a nice blogentry it's only fair that it should be able to recieve reputation aswell.

#1910619 IP Subscription: Is it possible to set purchase # limit?

Posted srp on 08 February 2010 - 12:05 AM

Hello,

I am trying to figure out if its possible to limit how many times a package could be purchased by a user.

Say, I want to offer them a FREE Trial, hence, obviously, it would be a limit of ONE per user. Then, they would have to purchase a package.

Is it possible to limit a package purchase #?  If yes, how?  If not, could IP add it as a feature?  (would be glad to get an answer or a confirmation :D)

Thanks

It is not currently a feature... I quite like the idea though :)

#1758300 Suggestion for IP.Gallery 3.0: Public album

Posted Adriano Faria on 28 September 2008 - 08:01 AM

I think it would be a nice feature for forums that makes pictures contests: an album where more than 1 user (album creator) could post images! Or even better: only post images users that were invited by admin or album creator.

Please, consider that...

#1902164 Invision have to make a new skin for 3.0

Posted marklcfc on 21 January 2010 - 02:06 PM

Have you noticed almost every board that upgrades to 3.0 is suffering from a downturn in visits, lack of activity on the forums compared to previous, forum members not understanding why they made such a change. Well I have, well I can't say every one for sure but I've kept an eye on more than 30 forums that have upgraded and not a single upgrade has been successful. This has only been a problem since the move to 3.0, and the totally unspiring skin all forum owners have had to try and work with.

It was my concern well over a year ago and I tried to this through to you in beta stages but nothing happened. You MUST make a better more accessible skin, that is fast loading, easy on the eye and skinable for those without tons of knowledge.

I have stuck with 2.3.6 and it looks like I will for the foreseeable future until something gets sorted out. May we have to wait till 4.0 now until something is done??? Sorry for the outburst but it needs to be said (again).  <_<

#1884085 Hiding the language choice

Posted ΑndyF on 01 December 2009 - 04:35 PM

I've thought about this a few times before.

I wonder if there should be an option added to hide the language chooser (especially if you only have one language anyway) , I know you can simply skin it out ;) , in fact I've added a quick article on doing this for 3.0. (as I have done for other versions at the time), but the same thing could be said for the skin chooser too, and there is an option to disallow anyone (easily, at least) choosing skins by hiding it.

I'm merely thinking along the lines of tidiness as with only one language present, it does not appear serve a real purpose as far as I can tell. :)
