Is that overview up to date? IPS products has evolved quite fast. tags have been added and infractions and soft deleted posts will be added in IPB 3.3

Are the following data sets imported?
  • PM folders - No, folders are not carried across
  • Thread prefixes - Thread prefixes are converted into IP.Board tag prefixes
  • Member account change history - Not too sure what you mean here, if you mean name changes etc., these aren't converted
  • infraction points - Yes
  • Infraction messages - Yes
  • Preset Infractions - No, not at this stage.
  • tags - Yes
  • soft deleted posts - Yes
  • topic history (merges, deletions, renaming, moving, etc) - We don't copy across logs
  • user notes - User notes from warnings/infractions are copied across, if that is what you mean

The update includes numerous bugfixes for the other supported products as well.

Password issue was because converter had been deleted. If you delete converter, than it cannot access old db with passwords.

That's partly correct, the converter files must be present (and the application must remain installed in the IP.Board Admin CP) - though it doesn't access the old database for passwords, all passwords are copied across to the IP.Board database.

The converters should work with Xenforo 1.1, there were little changes between the two releases in terms of core database structure which we require in the converters.

Yes I think so, but this version is no longer supported by IPS.

That is incorrect, 3.1.4 is still available to download in the client area and is still supported by us. :)
