It's not very useful.

On a large board the posts will never change, as many have 30+ rep points.

It's just one page of the same posts. I think it should default to how it is now but maybe you should have more options, most liked content in the past week/month/year and the default overall

Calendar idea

I think it should be possible to merge a calendar event and topic together. Say I have a topic for an event discussion on the forum, I would like the event info to be at the topic, including the rsvp and all attendees.

I know I can create a topic leaving a link to the calendar event where people can comment, but I think it'd be better if it was as part of the forums as it would be alot more noticeable.

Followed topic notifications

If I'm following a topic, and theres been say 26 replies since my last visit, I've got 26 notifications for the same topic. :logik:

Wouldn't it be better to have 1 notification, with it saying soandso and 7 others replied to this topic - so instead of adding 1 to the nofification it'll just change how many others replied.

Similar to how it works on facebook but if someone mentions your username in a post you get an notification alert.
