I'm not looking to change but I would be interested in seeing a better working gallery. About the best looking gallery system I've seen is piwigo. It's front end is much better than IP Gallery i.e. looks better and easier for people to view and or find what they want to see.

This looks like a gallery from the 90's, not really appealing to me. The 500px gallery seems to do a better job representing current web design.

I have not noticed any downside effects to the blog feature.
Blog posts are mostly about personal related subjects and within the forum my users write about forum related topics. So there is not really an issue.

There has been a sidebar poll addon for IP.Board 3.1. I am wondering if there is a new sidebar poll for the current IP.Board version. I know that xenforo has a sidebar poll addon which really looks good to me. It would be great if something like this would be available for IP.Board.

Maybe the gallery should be more image centric and not album centric. I like the image overview page of Pinterest and Fandalism. You get a lot of information without disturbing the viewer's eye. Their success is showing that users like it.

In IP.Board 3.2.3 you won't get notified when someone commented on your blog entry.
