Someone's a little short tempered.
Arguably your post is feedback, but it's obviously a bug in the software and would be more easily addressed in the bug tracker. And yeah, people read it, especially those who matter: people who actually fix the bugs. The very nature of the bug tracker will pretty much guarantee acknowledgement from a staff member. You posted in a public forum: expect public responses.

Martin is correct though
1st: I've created a bug report, but in future, that's where they go
2nd: I've never noticed it, but if you could create a bug report with a link - we'd appreciate it.
3rd: Like martin says: log in with the same Email address and password, if it doesn't work - contact our account assistance department (through a support ticket) and they'll sort that out for you

I am not sure what you expect us to do. By your own statement the account is not in your name it's in the name of the Scott you mentioned. Scott is the client of record. He could certainly login and change that information but that is up to him - we will certainly not go changing client login information just because someone claims to have purchased the license from a third-party site. Can you imagine the chaos that would cause?

Understand that from our perspective you are not our customer - the account owner is. We have no way of knowing if/who/when you bought that license from. All we know is the data that is in our client system and if it has the other person's name and email then that is who we must speak to.
