Hello, ips connect is only for connecting users, you can't share a database for the forum with another forum, each site would require a separate license and you could use ips connect to allow users to log into both, but nothing else would be shared.

In Topic: WHERE IS Security Update: 3rd May 2013 FIX FOR 3.1.X version?
05 May 2013 - 01:15 AM
Hello, the 3.1 version was end of life in July of 2012, and the 3.2 version will be end of life in July of this year, we don't provide patches for unsupported software I'm afraid.
We would recommend upgrading to a newest version of 3.4.4
Thank you for understanding.

Hello, to clarify, the developers review this section and all feedback, the development team and management will then review ideas or request for changes, if they see this as something that should be changed or added, then it can make it's way into a future version. Just to be clear, I was not saying it wasn't a good idea, just providing some info in the meantime.
Thank you

Hello, I was sharing helpful info and options for you to get your site working, not providing a solution to your requested feature, that would be something that would need to be addressed in a future version if it was deemed needed.
We do appreciate your feedback however.
On the use of noreply, many still use it yes, and is some circumstances it does have it's place, however it's not always ideal as mentioned.

Using a [email protected] will likely lead to your emails getting filtered or blocked by many spam systems, it's not recommended that you use an a noreply@, and actually the recommended procedure is that you do accept bounced messages, in order to retain good standing with spam prevention services and ISP's. If you are getting bounced emails, it's best to resolve the issue rather then blackhole those messages.
On the replies to pm's etc, I have adjusted the notifications emails on my sites to include a little larger "DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL" at the top of the message, that seems to do the trick, as they see it first as a reminder.
The second trick is to actually remove the content of the PM in the notification if the above fails, then they have to login to the site to view it,, therefore nothing to reply too.
On the routing to the proper department, nexus uses the subject line to ensure all replies are routed to the proper ticket etc as well.
