A problem that many sites suffer from is people replying to topics that are 1, 2 or even 3 years old or more.
Would be nice to have an 'old topic warning' beneath the reply box.
With a warning saying something like
'This topic is more than 400 days old. It is very likely that it does not need any further discussion and thus bumping it serves no purpose.
If you still feel it is necessary to make a new reply, you can still do so though.'
The a tick box that says
I am aware that this topic is rather old but I still want to make a reply.
Unless they tick the box, they are unable to reply.
This should reduce the amount of bumping with spam old topics or for no reason.

Improved PM notification
05 October 2011 - 07:42 AM
it would be great if we could have the following two options...
1) An admin selectable switch to reset the unread PM notification to nothing - i.e. to allow the admin to decide if (s)he would like to show to users at all times the number of unread PM's. (I keep forgetting to reply to PM's)
2) Allow the admin to set the PM pop-up box as default - currently most other options are selectable as default, but not this.
Regarding the second, I would then add instructions/link on the foot of the box as to how to disable the pop-up box if people did not want this, which would also direct people to select other options for themselves.

Hi,
Just had some file update notifications & each one is addressed to a different username, none of which is me.

Time for guests
14 August 2011 - 03:14 PM
Please could the time for guests be improved.
Currently the time shown to guests takes no account of BST/DST - and so they are always shown the time as being an hour slow.
In fact they are shown as an hour behind the server time, which surely is wrong.
Members have to remember to adjust their time in their settings.
Surely the time for all should be as set by the admin otherwise the admin just get's moans that the site time is an hour slow.

flip the new registrations graph on ACP index
02 August 2011 - 12:30 PM
Hi,
Surely the graph on the index of the ACP for new registrations is back to front?
It would seem (to me anyway
) that today's date should be on the right and not the left.
