If you convert from SMF to MYBB and then to IPB do you get the same errors?
In the meantime I will look into table data for smf polls...

Create a new admin on ipb forum....new email.
Merge the forum
After merge is complete then you go into ipb admin / members and merge the NEW admin you created into the OLD admin account.
These support forums are awesome but sometimes people have jobs and family lives etc....so your unanswered post will get a reply when either people see it or someone knows the answer.
Relax, it's the holidays

Easy fix -
Convert your phpbb to mybb 1.6 here - http://www.mybb.com/...ds/merge-system
and then go mybb 1.6 to IPB
