Would you please make categories side bar more visible in Social Home Page View

If you pick social home page view for gallery home page? you get a category side bar just straight list of links...
Would you please put something in front of the each category a bullet or something that people visually understand that they are the gallery categories?

Looks Like Featured Images showing again and again on the gallery front page

I always see same images when i log in to Gallery here or on my board...

My members are saying the same thing... I am tired or seing same image again and again...

I do not understand how this featured images work... I have thousands featured images but always same images start showing in Gallery....

Is there a way to change this order or something else there that i do not aware of?????
