I did see this thread concerning IP.Content and IP.Board on separate sub-domains. http://community.inv..._1#entry1945687 It was the questions of directory hierarchy hat I had the most, as it seemed that it was referring to "fake" subdomains where directories within the main domain are mapped also as a subdomain.
Bummer about Gallery, though. I don't think it is worth it in my case to buy a separate license just for that.
I can easily reconfigure my subdomains, but my concern about that is that I have a pretty good Google results position that I do not want to jeopardize.
Lack of a migration tool is an issue, too. There would be a lot of manual moving of things for me.
I guess converge could be an option, but I can't seem to find an information page on it. How does it work? Does it replace the login functions of the other software, or does it act as a middleman between login systems to pass information, and if the later, does it have some kind of referential integrity?
