The licence owner / administrator or one of their alternative contacts will need to submit a ticket in the Client Area for assistance if required. :)

If I remember correctly the email should contain the demo link. :)

Regarding board licence vs hosting, if you opt for a hosted community you get the board with hosting although you are unable to download the board / applications as such. If you purchase a self hosted licence you would need to purchase hosting from either IPS or another hosting provider.

If you are not sure, I'd suggest signing up for one of the smaller hosted community packages and try it for a month or two then you can make your mind up if you wanted to expand / purchase a self hosted licence etc.

There is an application in the Marketplace which may be what you are after, Trader Feedback.

Install IPBoard as normal, don't do anything to its database. Do not install it into the same directory as your SMF board.

Then you install the converter (its an IPB app so installs inside board)

Then you use the Converter to copy the data across in effect from your SMF board.

Do you have your SMF board still up / online ?

If so, just install IPBoard into another directory (give it its own database)

The converter goes inside the IPBoard directory. :)
