  1. What happened to Popular Now / Hot Topics?

I just tested it on my beta site and can confirm that it shows up in the forum view but not in the stream.
  2. What happened to Popular Now / Hot Topics?

The setting for Popular Now is still there in 4.1.  The default settings for it are 10 posts in the past hour, so I guess nothing is getting that many responses right now.

  4. shoutbox for ips 4?

You can get the current version of shoutbox at the developer's site: Or you can try chat box here:
  5. Topic Feedback Block - Latest Member Info

I used pages to create my own block so that I could change the info to last reply instead of topic starter.  Let me know if you have pages and I'll post what I did to update the block.
  6. You reactivate your license for a 6 month period.  You can then upgrade to whatever version of the software is available at that time.  4.0.7 is currently available and would cost you the $45 that you listed, per site.  You can download any new version that is released within your 6 month window.
  7. 3rd party.  There are 2 specifically that my members would have major problems without.  There have been a lot of new 3rd party apps developed, but the updates from 3.X to 4 have been a little slow.  I'm hoping that the release of 4 will help to get the updates rolling.
  8. Congrats to everyone involved for getting to 4.0 Waiting for a couple applications to be updated is the only thing holding me back from updating to 4.
  9. shoutbox for 4.0

A lot of the shouts on my site are from people trying to draw attention to posts so I think it actually improves my forum activity.
  10. shoutbox for 4.0

    Oops. Nothing to see here.
  11. shoutbox for 4.0

Shoutbox does not need to have its own menu link for my community.  It could be useful for people that use it as more of a chat room though. Thanks for your continued work on this Pete.
  12. From the admin go to Members > Groups > Guests and then uncheck "Can access site."  Click Save.
  13. How to Change Aplication tab name?

THAT. WAS. AWESOME.  I love the video answers and learning something new and super easy with 4.0.
  14. Remove CopyRights

With some of my clients I am not allowed to use any third party software that displays another copyright. It has never really mattered to me, but to some companies it is a big deal.
  15. Congrats on joining the IPB family. This is a great forum with tons of resources and plenty of people to help solve any problem, to go along with the official support.
