  1. I'm waiting for the software to mature a bit more, as IPS tends to be quite buggy in general, I would prefer not to be an early adopter. Hopefully sometime around New Years or early next year I'll make the jump.
  2. Message Counter

That's exactly what I'm referring to. It updates fine as long as you're away from the tab, but when you visit the tab and carry on with the conversation, it can take several minutes before the count actually disappears/resets.
  3. Message Counter

Anyone have any ideas about making the missed message counter at the top of the Chat page tab update more accurately. It often has quite a latency when it comes to updating or clearing. I know it shouldn't be too hard to do because other sites and services has the same feature more effectively. Also when you're in a private chat, the software accurately keeps track of missed messages just fine for rooms you aren't in when listing the value next to the room names. TL:DR: The missed message counter at the top of page tabs sucks and doesn't update within any reasonable amount of time which often confuses members. Can this be easily fixed on my end?
  4. Being able to self host should really be an option. While IP.Chat isn't perfect, there's lot of limitations I've learned to live with. Though for me the fact that the IPB servers are so unbelievably unstable after the automatic nightly restarts and the unwillingness to do anything about it within any reasonable amount of time, really doesn't make the paid service worth it. I would personally pay 50/yr just for the license just to self host it, I already have multitudes more server resources than I could ever need as well which can handle it. IPB Support- This was months ago, and still my chat is down for hours every night after the chat room restarts. Late nights are the busiest time for my site.
